Nancy Bos knows voices. She knows the physiology, the acoustics, and the
artistic sensibilities that make a voice great. In Singing 101 she
helps you pin-point singing problems and teaches the singing skills to
master these problems. Private lessons will always be best, but when
that isn't possible, turn to Singing 101.
Nancy has taught voice since 1995. She specializes in rock, country, and music theater vocals, but has a background in classical singing and performs in all genres herself. Nancy can regularly be heard at a variety of venues in the Seattle area.
Nancy is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), serves as the editor of the national publication, Independent Voices, is a co-chair for a NATS national committee, and serves as the Secretary for the Northwest Chapter of the Voice Foundation. She has taught at Cornish College of the Arts, and enjoys managing a thriving independent studio. Constantly learning is a foundational concept for Nancy.
Many singing concepts are
taught on in Discs 1 and 2. Plus, the Bonus CD, Vocal Workout, will
have you singing every day, strengthening the muscles and building the
mental skills you need.
